Barbara is an Artist and a Registered Art Therapist. She has worked for over 30 years with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of therapeutic and educational settings. She has experience working with clients who attend  therapeutic day schools, mental health clinics, residential group homes, substance abuse programs, after school programs, adult learning center classes, nursing homes, assisted living centers, day rehabilitation programs and child care centers.

She has provided individual, group and family Art Therapy sessions as well as Art instruction for children, teens and adults.

Creating with clay and fiber has been a very relaxing and therapeutic experience for Barbara. She enjoys walking along the marshes, woods and beaches of Cape Cod collecting leaves, flowers and shells to imprint clay surfaces for her bowls, planters and fiber art.

Although she enjoys creating her own art work, her real joy comes from helping others gain self awareness and build self esteem while providing them with a creative outlet through the process of making art.
